Landmarks

Today, the company pursues its expansion on both the domestic and international market by enlarging its range of cameras and solutions in the domains of Defence, Energy and Transport.

2006-Today

The ALCEN group takes over LHERITIER and brings the steadiness of a larger entity to the development of its activity. LHERITIER records a major success when it is awarded a contract for the supply of cameras for surveillance of in-flight refuelling and cargo holds on a wide-body AIRBUS aircraft.

With the support of the ALCEN [LIEN] group, LHERITIER implements a new policy for its products based on the improvement and development of a family of single-board cameras, thus setting in motion an approach based on variety, nourished by the company’s ability to offer original solutions.

1989-2006

LHESA and LHERITIER merge to become LHERITIER – LHESA. Thanks to its technical skills, the company becomes a leader on the medical market by supplying equipment related to radiology and microscopic imagery.

In 1991, LHESA is awarded its first military contract for the supply of an underwater high-performance imagery system.

The project is a success and the cornerstone of LHERITIER’s subsequent development on the military market, where it serves Air, Land and Sea.

1981-1989

The LHESA company is founded with the ambition of offering high-performance cameras and vision systems to the scientific world. It is rapidly successful: a LHESA camera is used to film the take-off of the Ariane rocket in 1986.
